We are the second one down from the top! Nikki and I had a blast making this and hope to do more sketches in the future. A big thanks again to Team Coco for the props. It means a lot coming from a show I have been a fan of since it’s humble beginnings in 1993.

Was privileged to be flown into Detroit where the original 1964 Aston Martin from the James Bond film “Goldfinger” was temporarily being housed as it needed to be shot and promoted for an epic auction at Sotheby’s in London. I was asked to direct, DP, and edit some stylized videos of the car and all its working gadgets for a microsite designed to build buzz for the event. This video is a montage of the work, starting with the intro animation and moving into a gadget montage. This video also demonstrates the user interface for the site.

View in context at the RM Auctions site. I did the intro animation, as well as all videos under the 007 Arsenal section of the site labeled “Microfilm”.

The car sold for 4.2 million at the auction and the website won Best Digital Media Microsite at the 2011 Detroit advertising awards “D” Show. View my behind the scenes blog post of this shaken but not stirred adventure.
